Woodrow's Update

Hey gang! The PUPHEDZ are doing the festival circuit circuit. Yes, I know, that’s a really “Hollywood” thing to do, but hey, we need to do what we can to spread the word. This is how the festivals scene is shaping up:

1.) Winner “Best Animation” at the 2002 LA Screamfest - (www.screamfestla.com)

Also, you can now pre-order the DVD of our first episode, “The Tattle-Tale Heart,” at on-line retailers like Amazon, Blockbuster, Buy, Netflix, etc.

And, now for the really big news… The PUPHEDZ are going to be coming to you in comic book form. Yes! PUPHEDZ comics! It’s in the works!

Episode’s 2 and 3 are also in the works. We’re still cleaning up from the first one, but scripts are underway, and production will probably be underway before summer.

Hello PUPHEDZ fans,

It’s official! Our DVD of “PUPHEDZ: The Tattle-Tale Heart” has been picked up by Elite Entertainment for distribution. We’re working with them right now to get advertising and pre-orders in the works. Before too long the PUPHEDZ should be available in video stores all over. Tell your local video retailer to order it, and tell Elite you want it ASAP.

The PUPHEDZ have won “Best Animation” at this year’s Los Angeles Screamfest Horror Film Festival. Winning the award was a great honor, and the event was great fun. We’d like to send a special thanks to Rachel Belofsky for including us in the festivities.

NEWS FLASH: In the last few weeks, the PUPHEDZ have appeared in the magazines RUE MORGUE, and FANGORIA. We also had a terrific article in The Reno Gazette Journal (my old home town). Thanks to all the reporters who gave us the opportunity.

We’re starting to work on episode 2. Actually, the plan is to put episodes 2 and 3 on the next DVD, so we’re figuring out just how the stories will work and how to make them bigger and better than “Tattle-Tale.” We’re also trying to figure out how the production will proceed. Brillig Productions is still struggling to finance the PUPHEDZ projects, so please help get the word out about Woodrow, Chip, Peter, and Leif - and the new cast members to come.

“Puphedz: The Tattle-tale Heart” is now available for purchase on DVD!! (currently NTSC only)

If you wish to order your copy you may do so here. For the time being, until we get a shopping cart set up, you will have to go the old-fashioned route and download a printable PDF order form. Just fill it out and return with your payment. We will fulfill orders as quickly as possible, but just in case, please allow 4 to 6 weeks.
